Lydia’s Stillwater Homestead

In a noisy world, one girl learns to listen—to the land, to others, and to God.

Lydia’s Stillwater Homestead is a heartfelt, modern-day middle-grade series rooted in Christian values and inspired by the quiet strength of Little House on the Prairie and the charm of Anne of Green Gables. Set in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas, it follows Lydia, an eleven-year-old homeschooler raised on a homestead where faith is central, the outside world is filtered through Scripture, and life lessons are learned through service, suffering, and simple joys.

Though the tone is gentle and wholesome, Lydia’s story deals with real-world challenges: peer pressure, growing up in a culture that often conflicts with truth, and learning compassion by helping her mother in what Lydia calls the “Dying Home”, a free hospice for families who can’t afford end-of-life care.

Lydia’s Stillwater Homestead offers a fresh, relevant perspective for today’s Christian youth.
