It wouldn’t be the first, or second part I gave up to medical research. OK, so it wasn’t for medical research, and my gallbladder is probably sitting in some dark red container with hazzard symbols on the side, in a landfill somewhere out there. I just had it out yesterday, so I’m certainly not thinking I’m out of the woods yet, because quite honestly I’ve never been very confident where my health is concerned. **coughhypochondriaccough**
These photos are not pretty, even though my bloated stomach is still covered by gauze (I thought I was only supposed to get 4 tiny incisions, but I’ve counted 5). I did take some photos with the gauze pulled off and my stomach so bloated that I could not bend over, but decided most were too gross to show. :-S
Now the one below is my bellybutton! It’s sunken in around my skin! Nasty. :-S My stomach was hard as a rock and hurt like hell. The bloating is from all the stuff they pumped into me in order to see inside my stomach.
I still feel crappy, but better than I did yesterday and earlier this morning. I’m sure a lot of that ‘feeling betterness’ is because of the Percocet, but also because of the beautiful flowers that Brian sent me! :-D
:-D Like sunshine!
