Hi everyone! I wanted to show you all the official covers for my Brazil (Suma de Letras) and UK (HarperCollins) covers for THE EDGE OF NEVER. Thankfully, they decided to keep the original cover! But of course, they’ve prettied them up to make them unique as well. I think they look great!
I really look forward to seeing all of the other covers from other countries!
In other news, I’ve been hard at work on a new romantic suspense novel that I hope to publish before the end of July! I know it’s a little (okay a long!) wait before THE EDGE OF ALWAYS will be published in November, so you’ll get my newest novel to hold you over until then! I’m not announcing the title of that book yet, but be on the lookout (if it hasn’t been made public already) for a blogger who will be doing an interview with me and the title is revealed in that interview. And the lovely Michelle Monique is already hard at work on the cover, so I’m really excited about that.

I know it’s been a while since my last blog post and I need to apologize for that because I was once fairly consistent with updating my blog. I’ve had a lot going on on the home-front lately (just moved into a new house – stuff like that) and things have been really hectic! But I think (geez, I hope!) that everything has finally settled down and I will be back in business around here with all of you awesome people.
So, let me get right to the updates.
Obviously, everyone has already seen the cover for THE EDGE OF ALWAYS! Funny how it’s my book, yet I’m among the last to post it on my own blog. But I absolutely loooove it! And I think my publisher did a great job finding the perfect image to represent Andrew Parrish and keep with the theme of Camryn’s cover for THE EDGE OF NEVER.
I think they look great side-by-side and I can’t wait to have them on my shelf! :-)
I think most of you already know, too, the release dates and all that, but I want to break those down for you here, just in case:
- July 2, 2013, THE EDGE OF NEVER paperback will be released by Forever Romance in the United States. It will include a bonus scene in the back, which is a chapter in Andrew’s POV of a crucial scene. I wrote this scene after I got many requests for it, so I hope you like it! :-) You can pre-order it here.
- The paperback of THE EDGE OF NEVER will be published by HarperCollins UK also, and I will add to this post the official release date for that one when I get it.
- For Brazil, the eBook is scheduled to release this month (April) and the paperback in May. Check Objetiva for more information.
- November 5, 2013 is the official release date for THE EDGE OF ALWAYS eBook versions in the United States, published by Forever Romance. When I get more details about the release dates for other countries, I will post them on my FAQ’s page. If you don’t see yours posted there, that means I still don’t know myself. You can pre-order the Kindle version here. The paperback will be released in January 2014.
I would also like to talk briefly about my contemporary fantasy standalone novel, DIRTY EDEN.
I noticed the other day that the audio version published by Audible.com will be on sale April 16, 2013 and already there is a free sample up on Amazon that you can listen to. First of all, many of you don’t know this, but DIRTY EDEN was my favorite book to write! When I listened to the sample by narrator Stephen Bel Davies, I sat there with a big effin’ smile on my face because I was so impressed with his style. And excited. Of course, DIRTY EDEN is as far away from any romance genre that a book can be and I know that the majority of my readers are romance fans and will likely never read it, but hopefully one day I can get a little more exposure for my ‘red-headed step-child’ book, LOL. Because honestly, it gets no love! If you know anyone who likes books like Neverwhere or American Gods by Neil Gaiman, or films like The Devil’s Advocate, Hellboy or Pan’s Labyrinth, then I would be grateful if you passed it along somehow. Here is the newest review DIRTY EDEN has received. And you can get the Kindle and Nook versions anytime for just $.99.

OK, I didn’t expect to get the green light for this particular news, but I can’t think of a more fitting day than Valentine’s Day to announce the sequel to THE EDGE OF NEVER, titled THE EDGE OF ALWAYS!! Yes, the sequel is in the works right now. I can’t say too much about it other than this:
THE EDGE OF NEVER first introduced you all to Camryn Bennett and even though the story was written in both the POV’s of Camryn and Andrew Parrish, it was *mostly* in Camryn’s POV. But THE EDGE OF ALWAYS, I’m excited to announce, will *mostly* be in the POV of Andrew Parrish! And the cover will look a lot like Camryn’s cover except it will have Andrew on it! :-D So, to all of you die-hard cover-obsessed readers out there, you’ll get a nicely done matching themed cover to look great on your bookshelf next to THE EDGE OF NEVER.
As I mentioned, right now I can’t go too into details about THE EDGE OF ALWAYS, but yes, it is a sequel, yes there will be more road trip scenes and yes, there will be more ‘hardships’ that Camryn and Andrew will face. But that’s all I can say!
