Not much going on lately; job issues getting resolved and getting ready to submit to an agent for Dirty Eden, soon. Other than that, not much at all going on. It’s been a little while since my last blog, I thought I should get on here and post something, no matter how boring and uninteresting it is.

I’m thinking of getting a Teacup Yorkie. :-) I live in an apartment and don’t really have the room for an English Bulldog (my favorite breed ever), so I think one as small as a Teacup Yorkie would be perfect for me. We’ll see.

Right now I’m watching a TNG (Star Trek: The Next Generation, for those that don’t know) marathon. I saw the new Star Trek movie in the theatre last weekend and I loved it. I didn’t at all expect it to be good, but I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations. Special Effects – A++, Accurate Character Personality Portrayal – A+, Accurate Character Portrayal Appearance – A+, Suspense – A, Humor – A++, Accurate Star Trek Storyline – B-

I saw X-Men Origins: Wolverine on opening night, too. Though, I went in expecting it to be awesome as I thought the other X-Men movies were and I was disappointed. It was long and drawn-out, had a whole ‘love story’ thing going on, didn’t show enough of the other characters (especially Gambit) and their powers. One thing I really enjoyed about the other films was that they had a variety of different characters with different abilities. It made it interesting around every corner. Wade was awesome and so was he when he became Deadpool. Overall, Wolverine was one of those movies that they showed most of the good parts in the trailers to lure everyone into the theatre and then drop the ball….

I can’t wait until July- Harry Potter & the Half-Blood Prince. I’d also like to see the new horror/thriller Drag Me To Hell – looks wicked.
