Awesome double-shot news I have for everyone! First, as you can see I got the cover art for the final installment of The Darkwoods Trilogy! And I LOVE it! As always, Michelle did an amazing job! I wanted the last cover to be different from the first two by not showing Isaac and Adria’s faces, but instead let the hands and the destruction of the scene out ahead of them to sort of express the tone of the final book. I think it speaks volumes – hope everybody else thinks so, too!
To top off this wicked awesome news, not only did I get the cover yesterday on 10/2, but I also finished THE BALLAD OF ARAMEI!!! The timing couldn’t have been more perfect! Now, I have to go through the grueling editing process and work the manuscript through another sort of ‘process’ and hopefully I can give everyone an actual official release date. Keep your fingers crossed!
Lastly, I wanted to thank everyone who has read the first two books in the trilogy and who loved them because without you all, I might not have ever finished it. I went into this just hoping a few people would want to read Darkwoods and maybe a few more would say they actually loved it, but I never imagined the scale of ‘fans’ that the Darkwoods Trilogy has amassed – so THANK YOU! :-)
