The Mayfair Moon & Kindred – Amazon Best Sellers

Share

I have some awesome updates on THE MAYFAIR MOON and KINDRED and I’m really excited. :-) On the KINDRED release day, sales pushed the book straight up the Amazon rankings so fast that KINDRED was #1 on Amazon’s Movers & Shakers for over 24 hours! I didn’t even know what Movers & Shakers was until I saw this tweet:

And I’ll be honest, I thought it was just a scam tweet or something fishy. I didn’t even get a screenshot of KINDRED at #1 because I was too busy researching this ‘Movers & Shakers’ thing that I didn’t think was legit. Anyway, KINDRED shot up to over 700% on its release day – thank you all for your support and for buying the book!

Since then, KINDRED has held some really great rankings on Amazon, the best one and held the longest is in the Fantasy & Futuristic Romance category at #1:

And it still pops up in the sidebar as being a ‘Hot New Release’:

And then there is THE MAYFAIR MOON – I decided to use my 5 free days (KDP) on TMM spontaneously one morning and I’m still surprised at what a fantastic decision that was! On the first free day, Mayfair started out in the 6,000’s (rank) and before the day was over it rose into the 1,000’s. By the next day it was in the top 10 free Amazon downloads and then I woke up on the third day and it was at #1 in Children’s eBooks!

THE MAYFAIR MOON racked up over 43,000 downloads in just 5 days!

And even after THE MAYFAIR MOON went back to paid, it is doing great in the Teen Horror categories, too!

I just wanted to thank everybody for your support and I’m so happy that so many people love The Darkwoods Trilogy. *big hugs* :-)

  1. Hiya! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My blog looks weird when browsing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a template or plugin
that might be able to fix this problem. If you have any suggestions, please share.
    With thanks!

  4. Can’t wait for the next book.

  5. Lacey – The next book after book #3 will be a companion novel about a key character introduced in KINDRED and a few favorite characters will also be in that book. :-)

  6. Just a thought but maybe in the future you could write books about Seth, Nate and Daisy and we could see their struggles and loves. Kind of like Lynn Kurland and the “Nine Kimgdoms”. Just an idea. Love the books! I am looking forward to reading more of your books.

  7. Thanks, Annette. I’m hoping for mid-November.

  8. Loved both books? . I could not put them down. When can we expect the 3rd book?

  9. Thank you, Lacey! And nope, no vampires in this trilogy, but there will be Praverian Chronicles with vampires, so be on the lookout next year. :-)

And thanks, Laura! I’m so glad you enjoyed the first two books so much! So far, book 3 will end the trilogy, but there will be a full-length companion novel based on a key character introduced in KINDRED and some favorite characters from the trilogy will be in it, too! :-)

  10. Just read Moon and Kindred in the last few days and WOW I just wanted to share how much I enjoyed them! Looking forward to the next in the series (that I hope extends PAST a trilogy!) congrats from a fellow Arkansan now living in Alaska.

  11. I loved both books! Excellent writing skills. So excited for the third book. I like vampires, but I love the fact that there aren’t any in your books and we can just finally read a great love story about werewolves!!

  12. That’s awesome! Congratulations Jessica. :)

  13. So freakin’ awesome! Congrats Jessica!
